Mesa: www.mesa3d.org
Mesa is a free implementation of OpenGL 1.2 (available for Linux users). Currently it
supports very well the Matrox G200/G400 cards, nVidia Riva TNT/TNT2 cards and 3dfx cards (voodoo1, rush, voodoo2)! A 3DNow! support is also available as well as a Direct3D support (under Win32, for those of you who doesn't have a good OpenGL driver from their card manufacturer). Mesa is simply my reference driver since it's so good!

Many thanks to Matrox (especially Matrox France) for their support in our project. I'm most grateful to Matrox for giving me the opportunity to develop future version of DooM Legacy on their so good 3D cards. That means you can expect to have a good compatibility between G200/G400 and OpenGL DooM Legacy ;-) but also some unique features supported by their latest OpenGL drivers!
nVidia: www.nvidia.com
Download their latest OpenGL drivers (Riva 128, Riva TNT/TNT2, GeForce).
3dfx: www.3dfx.com
I particularly advise you to download MiniGL which
functions now with OpenGL DooM Legacy and which is faster (but less
complete) than the ICD Beta 2.1 or than Mesa. Make sure you to put the file
opengl32.dll in the OpenGL DooM Legacy directory. You can also try the ICD for Quake3. It run very well on Voodoo2 (a little slower than MiniGL but more complete).
ATI: www.ati.com
Download their latest OpenGL drivers.
