Nvidia Riva 128/128ZX FAQ - Submitted by Kesler

OpenGL Driver Installation

Thankfully, setting up OpenGL on any new Nvidia based card is very easy, just download the latest Nvidia drivers from Nvidia, install them, and you will have a fully functional OpenGL 1.1 ICD in your /windows/system/ directory which can be used for all OpenGL based games and programs, including GL Doom Legacy. So having installed the drivers, just load up the Legacy Launcher and choose 'OpenGL' as the renderer, then frag away in OpenGL glory.

FAQ

Q I can't change the screen resolution during the game
A This is a known problem with the Riva128 cards, the best way to solve this is to chage the lines 'scr_height' and 'scr_width' in your config.cfg / legacy.cfg file to the required resolution and start the game up.
Q The BFG and the Plasma gun don't shoot the correct projectiles
A This seems to be a texture coruption problem with the Riva 128's OpenGL driver, I do not know if it occurs on every Riva 128 though.

Tweaks

I personally do not know of any tweaks that can be used to improve the performance of GL Doom Legacy on a Riva128/Riva128ZX based 3D card, if anyone has any then mail me.
